Posted April 28, 201312 yr I will be building a box for 2 Sundown E 15s. The subs are dual 4ohm going to wire them to 1ohm on a audiopipe AP10001D. So they will be gettin a little more than rms wattage but I dont see that being a problem. Thats where i need help. I know on Sundowns website they recommend ported 3.0-4.0ft^3 @ 35 hz. What would yall recommend on box size and hz since i will be overpowering a little.Subs are going in a 2005 Silverado crew cab z71. I have the 60/40 sectioned backseat. I will possibly removing the 60 part for box.So pretty much what i need to know is that:ft^3 size/hz levelSIngle chamber or dual?Daily applicationnot sure on dimensions of section on backseat but i can measure tonightAlso which direction for subs/port. Ive always thought subs up hit hardest in a truck but not sure where to do port. Thanks!
April 29, 201312 yr Okk need you to answer some questions. What music do you listen too? Are you taking the 60 seat out? Is the 60 side behind the driver or passenger side? Edited April 29, 201312 yr by Bassink
April 30, 201312 yr Okk I have a design I made. I started a 3D sketchup. Do you want 45s in the box? Flush mount?I did subs up port to the side facing door. I've seen a lot of trucks that have boxes like that.
April 30, 201312 yr Author 45s yes. probably not gonna flush mount them. Kinda of a budget build haha. How many ^3 did you make it?
April 30, 201312 yr How does the budget build have to do with flush mounting? I can't remember the cubes I think it was 3.6. Ill have to check again when I have time.
April 30, 201312 yr Author It's just another sheet of wood I would have to buy. That's fine man thanks for your help!
May 1, 201312 yr Right now I am really busy with school. It just started and I'm trying to get everything situated. I can give you the design info, but I wont be able to get the 3D design done. Right now at least. If you would like that let me know.
