So how do you correctly port a box that's 14 wide, 18 deep, 7 tall in the back, 14 in the front?

As already been said multiple times here and your other threads the boxes are no where near ideal. As I have said before sell the kickers and buy ONE high xmax 12 Preferably something along the line

  • The RMS rating of the sub has absolutely nothing to do with how loud it will get.  It the absolute last specification you should ever look at.

My original design was a slot but I couldn't do it correctly without the funding of the box around 45+Hz. I want around 33-35. Can somebody Give me a design? Cause my aero ports aren't moving all that much air.

I am going to use the 2 boxes I already have. Just replace the ports

My box won't be to hard to take apart. I just need a design to use. I have the two boxes already, but I'm not good at doing slot ports for boxes so small

The person who built my box is a professional carpernter. He said he will be able to undo the glue, if the box won't be good enough with a slot port then I'm giving up until I get a new car.

I will make a sketch of my box later today

Okay, im going to look for a prefab box thast ported. maybe the same size as my last box but a little wider with a port.
can somebody recommend me a box?

My current sealed boxes are H=13.5, W=14.5, D=11.5(at the top) 6(at the bottom)

The ported box I need can be as big as  H=13.5, W=16 D=12

i wouldn't bother with a prefab, practically as bad as what you using now. i would play around with the idea of external ports if you unwilling to actually build new boxes.

My friend has a small ported 10 on 250rms and its as loud as my two 10s sealed. He's ported at about 40hz tho.

I'm going to try to get a box like that around 38hz at most. My best buy has something like it.

I tested airflow of my ports and there's hardly anything coming out, and my friends box is pushing out a crazy ammount and still sounds good on moat music.

I dont listen to anything to low anyway. 35hz is about as low as it gets

again, your current boxes suck and prefabs will be just as bad. if you dont like our advice then do whatever you want. you're welcome to waste your money however you like..

Okay, im going to put back in sealed boxes, but this time for 12s.
I am going to get either the upgraded Kicker CompRs, or the sundown E-12s.
Each will be in its own separate, 1-1.1 cubic box. receiving about 400rms.

Because the box is so close to being under the limit of airspace, should I reverse mount? Or use polyfill?
