I sold my sa15s for $600 so it's time for something new. I need about 100 or the box so I have 500sih to spend on subs. I'm running an saz2500d what would you guys recommend as in upgrade from the sa 15s? or should I just rebuy the sa15s and profit a bit?

I don't have the funds to get the icons as much as I would like to do so. if I get the ssd i'll get a pair of 18s instead of 15s

You wont regret getting the ssd's. I ran a pair for six months and loved them using a aq2200d.

They just seem very similar to my sa15s. That's my whole thing I don't want to get a super similar sub to what I already have

I have owned both and the ssd's are much better then the sa's.

What options did you get on yours?

I had the cooling option.

What exactly does that do?

Helps keep the coils cool so it can handle more then 1000rms that a stock one is rated at.

alright. I can either get ssd 15s with the cooling option or ssd 18s without. What would you go with?

well loud is subjective but I love loud lol I love when my ears hurt and tingle

Two 18 ssd's will be louder then two 15s. Two 15's were to loud for me I hit just under 149 db's

I'm thinking i'm going to do the 18s without the cooling on my saz 2500d. What did you tune your box to? and did you hit 149 on music on tones?

It was tune to 34hz if I remember right. The 149 was on music.

dayyum! i'm pretty sure my sas are only high 30s low 40s. I might just do the 15s without any options and get a sick box build
