Not sure if I should I get the battery for the front or should I go with the larger ah one in the back.

    I would upgrade the rear battery to the biggest you can.

    When a battery in the rear is installed, the battery up front is hardly ever used for aftermarket use for rear equipment.

     

    The resistance in the line is too great forcing the current demand to reside mostly in the rear.

     

    In my testing, a single 3/0 cable from front to rear on a 300A load only allowed 8% of the load to come from the front battery.
