Posted June 3, 201312 yr Anyone ever tried a 4th or 6th order for the 2010 line of Death Penalty 12? I figured for a 4th order do a 1.5 cubes sealed and 4.5 cubes on the ported side would do decent, but looking to see if anyone has ever tried it. I wanted to base it off a 100% spl setup with interchangeable ports to swap tuning to 32-34hz for daily.

June 6, 201312 yr Well you are off to a bad start. There is a lot of design of a bandpass, even moreso on 6th.You have to plan and model different configurations for what you want to do. You can't just pick some numbers.Also no way in the world you would want to tune that low. Unless you just want to talk to whales and not play music. I think you would be much better off with a standard ported enclosure.
