Anyone no what size t-nuts to use in double baffle box for 2 sa 12s

What do you guys use to mount your subs

I just used basic drywall screws for my sa12s. Used tnuts on my 18" BTL and regret it. Suckers lost their grab and just spin. Stuck until I crack open the box

I use threaded inserts.  I will occasionally use T-nuts, but I will sandwich them in between layers and never in MDF.  I always use a plywood to mount them.

T-nuts and Hurricane nuts work perfect, last forever, and hold better than any other fastener (other than nuts and bolts) in MDF, Plywood and Particle Board IF you install them correctly.

 

If you don't install them correctly they cross-thread, fall out or cause you to tear your box apart...

 

So really, it is up to how much effort you want to put in.

maybe try 10-32 or 1/4-20

Just use screws, unless you plan on removing them from the enclosure often.
