I'm looking for a new battery to replace my stock battery. I have 0 gauge wire for my power and ground. I'm running a soundqubed 1200d amplifier with a 15" Fi SSD in a 2.5cuft sealed enclosure. I've been looking at the Kinetik KHC2400

Do you know if you need one yet? What kind of car?

I wasn't sure if I needed a second one, but better safe than sorry.  I'd go with XS Power.  I've had Yellowtops and Duramaxes crap out on me, but my two beefy XS Powers stay strong through it all.  I have an idling voltage of 13.8v and still haven't done the big three....

i think that 2400 should be enough with the big three should keep your voltage pretty high and constant

I have an '04 Cavalier. I'm not sure if I need one but I was told that my stock battery won't give my amp enough power and that I should buy a battery that will put out around 2400 watts. I heard that the lights and everything else that is electrical draws around 1000 watts.

Hmm.. Il have to look them up. Have you used any of the Kinetik batteries? A buddy of mine has one so he recommended I buy one but I wanna know what my best options are.

XS power just in case you want to upgrade your set up, you'll have it.

Sears platinum agm batteries are a good choice.
