Posted August 18, 201312 yr I'm looking for a new battery to replace my stock battery. I have 0 gauge wire for my power and ground. I'm running a soundqubed 1200d amplifier with a 15" Fi SSD in a 2.5cuft sealed enclosure. I've been looking at the Kinetik KHC2400

August 18, 201312 yr I wasn't sure if I needed a second one, but better safe than sorry. I'd go with XS Power. I've had Yellowtops and Duramaxes crap out on me, but my two beefy XS Powers stay strong through it all. I have an idling voltage of 13.8v and still haven't done the big three....
August 18, 201312 yr i think that 2400 should be enough with the big three should keep your voltage pretty high and constant
August 18, 201312 yr Author I have an '04 Cavalier. I'm not sure if I need one but I was told that my stock battery won't give my amp enough power and that I should buy a battery that will put out around 2400 watts. I heard that the lights and everything else that is electrical draws around 1000 watts.
