September 8, 201312 yr Author of course hes going to say that. you already made the deal right? If its not putting out sound at all, or its distorting/cutting out its probably bad. You should have bought the zcon for sure because the motor weight is worth 200 alone. The front channel is fine. I just don't know if the rear speaker outputs are the problem or the rear output and rear input. Theres no way to test the rear input by itself. He said that he had it all installed by some car shop. I would've bought the zcon if I could have but it was already sold. He still has the t-1500 bdcp that I want. But I doubt he'll sell the amp to me now because he knows i know he screwed me.
September 8, 201312 yr db-r I think is the only good one. But there are others. Be careful and read reviews of places before you use them. I have an '04 GT and I love it as well. I just used GT liquid-damp on the whole trunk and spray painted it gun metal gray to match the car. The liquid sound dampener really conforms with that trunk well. Plus I hate using mats and asphalt based deadeners. I had a 16" tall box that I recently had to destroy inside the trunk because it swelled from the humidity.

I bought it from a friend so idk the exact dimensions. It's going to be destroyed inside my trunk also. I'll have the try that liquid-damp. Did it make a noticeable difference?
September 8, 201312 yr Not at first, you really have to train your ear. The extra vibrations on my door panels and front window were the kicker.
September 8, 201312 yr Author I would probably send it to rockford or db-r. The guy seems genuine. I really don't think he tried screwing. I have to be doing something wrong. Maybe it's a setting on my head unit? I wouldn't have to turn the rear pre-out on would I? Seems like a useless setting if it exists lol. I'm all out of ideas. Maybe I could skype with one of you more knowledgeable fellas tomorrow and show you what I have set up. I'm going to take a DMM to the rear channel tomorrow and see if i get a reading.
September 8, 201312 yr you're not going to get any results from a dmm unless you clamp amperage compared to other channels. If its blown. You'll know by experimentation.

In another thread I was told to measure AC voltage from the rear rca inputs. He said the voltage should dance with the music. The same should be true for the rear outputs.
