i got a hdc4 18. basically brand new. i traded my box my buddy built for me. dude said it had a blown coil on it. and when we tested it out was perfectly fine. so i got a steal.

i drive a Ford Taurus and the trunk space for a 18 would be my the whole trunk.

i just want some opinions on if you guys would sell it. trade it or recone it to a 15.

I would sell it or trade it. Get something smaller like a 15. Most trunks won't allow 18s in a proper box without serious modifications. A smaller sub in a proper box is better than a larger sub in a shitty crammed box.

ya i know. people where i live put like three 15's in there trunk. i had two mtx 5500 and was louder then them.

i could recone it to a 15. but would be 150. not a lot of people here know what good audio is.

300 obo.

Sell it then. Use the money to buy something good like something from the SSA store.

Recone may be cheaper. But you need to know how to do it correctly, or at least someone  who knows how to do it for you.

A sub that can handle the same power will cost you some good money.

I can't judge the hdc4 sub : I've never tried it. But the SSA store has some wonderful subs to play with.
