102 (or 104, I forget) dB/W efficient, you could send them three watts and knock your ears off. Like any Klipsch speaker, though, they're going to be extremely fussy with room placement and love large rooms.

But man, what I wouldn't do for a huge room and a set of K-horns to go in it :)

Spend much as you can on the 5/6/7 speakers.

SVS PB10 is killer for a entry level sub ($430 + shipping).

I personally like Pioneer Elite receivers; Elite's integrated amp is perfect for a cheap 2-channel set-up ($200).

Many people purchase a decent receiver (like a Denon 3805) at first; then, acquire a multi-channel amp later and use the Denon as a pre-pro.
