What are the benifits of a person running a daily, (non-competitive) sub stage at 4 ohm compared to 1 ohm?

 

Just curious if the pros were great enough, to dish out double the money for an amplifier?

None. Impedance is not efficiency btw

I understand that impedance isn't efficiency, but I thoughrt they were related. Lower resitance = better efficincy?

Not really. Budget wise sub amps running beyond 1ohm usually means wasted $$

Appreciate your input and since there isn't any benefits to mention, then I quess I can save some cash to put towards something else.
