Posted August 9, 201411 yr Just bought the crescendo component set and it may sound stupid but i don't know how to hook up the crossovers any help would be appreciated
August 9, 201411 yr Passive crossovers have 3 sets of terminals.1 set goes to amp.1 set goes to woofer.1 set goes to tweeter.They should be labeled as to which set goes to what.Many passive crossovers also have a cut\boost switch just for the tweeter output as well.
August 9, 201411 yr I've never used the crescendo set, but most are the same concept. Does the crossover have any labeling on it? Tweet, mid, etc? One wire(+ and -) will go from amp to the crossover. Then connect the tweeter and mid to the correct points on the crossover. Repeat for other side.Edit, beat me to it. Edited August 9, 201411 yr by hdrox88
August 9, 201411 yr Wire from amp to the "in" then wire the mid and tweet to the labeled points on the xover.
