Posted May 22, 200619 yr Hey my friend just bought 2 pbx's like 2 months ago, running of an orion 1200watt amp, anyways they were made in 04 at least thats what the sticker says, one of the just stopped working, like today i was putting some damplifier in his truck and i wanted to see his subs and it sounded funny to me, ussualy you can't even tell well the one sub sounded as if you had a piece of plastic infront of it, i think it was just the wires inside the box could be wrong tho, also i noticed one of his subs wasnt hitting at all...took it out sure enough wire'd it at 1ohm and got nothing out of it....is there any type of warranty on these, or would he be better off just taking it back to the place he got em and see what they say, do you take trade in's 2 of the 04 models for some new ones worth a try anyways thanksThey ar XS 12 duel vc's 1ohm subs
May 22, 200619 yr wait....they are dual 1ohm VC, then how did you wire 1 at 1 ohm? hmmm. check where the tinsel leads are soldered onto the push terminals to see if the solder broke. I have had that happen MANY times with the older PB subs. Other than that the XS's are almost bullet proof.
