I've spent WAY more money at shops than online, but the trend is flipping

Same here. I do agree that most of the employees are uneducated, and do often present themselves as uneducated. On that note, some of these B&M shops is how you find treasures. Hell if I hadn't just lost my job I would of held on to a few more of the amps I flipped on eBay.
