So I am going to be getting a new computer, the most important thing is that it can run old school runescape well. I also want to spend as little money as possible. Any suggestions on a cheap laptop that will have no problems running osrs? Or do I need to go with a desktop?

Anyone have a chromebook?

Good deal and laptop is an oxymoron. Temporary solution it is. May be okay though, can't imagine it takes much to run that.

It takes very little when it comes to running a game like runescape.  IF that is all your wanting to do nearly ANY laptop now a days that you can find for sale in facebook "buy, sale, trade groups or craigslist will run it fine.  You cannot download anything like games and such to Chromebooks.  I recommend searching your local facebook groups, craigslist and especially http://www.newegg.com

Although that would play Runescape just fine, I am not suggesting that you buy that specific one, only showing you that there are a lot of cheap options out there  you might also check on http://www.tigerdirect.com  stick with a minimum of Dual Core Processing.

 

EDIT: you do not need a desktop to run this game unless you want a desktop..
