Posted June 7, 200619 yr After comming back from the bahmas i hadnt driven the thing in 11 days. So i hop in my truck put 'er in neutral, crank and wow i was amazed. When you listen to 'er crank up day after day you dont notice the sound as much as after 11 days. She started off with a nice 'Burrrrr!!!" and then settled down to a cool 800RPM deep pur of a 3.0l V6 lion. Sounds so good, As i took off down Price Creek (road in the middle of nowhere with no cops and lots of hills/sweeping twists) i ran through the first 4 gears untill the fule cut at 95 wit joy in every shift when it dropped from 4500 RPM down to 3-3500 rpm where it sounds the best (as it gets just above 4,000 the tone gets raspy as the torque curve hits a peak and levels out to just below 5800 then cuts at the 6,000 RPM redling).I then put her into 5th and cruised through the hills and sweeps at 80ish.What fun.

June 8, 200619 yr Author Gibson was the cheapest from a reputable company for my truck.only $240 for aluminized pipe and polished chrome tipandi actually felt the difference and saw it with fule economy... 0.5-1mpg gain highway.
