Posted July 24, 200619 yr Ok, so ive had my 8053 for about two months now and I am completely in love. so in love, I was telling my girlfriend the other night that if my truck ever caught on fire I would actually take the 8053 out before saving anything else...lolI wanna add XM to the truck, no need to try to get me to pick sirius they dont have Baseball. My dilema here is that my favorite team (Oakland A's) is on the West coast and I am on the East coast, that also kinda helps because I work the 11pm to 7am shift and I could bring the radio in with me and continue to listen.I am looking at getting the XM MYfi because I can take it everywhere I go. So I guess my question is what do I need to hook this up in my truck? I know I have the extra Auxillary port on the 8053 that I could use but im not totally sure if it will work like that.
July 24, 200619 yr Use the auxillary port.I know a guy who has the Myfi, its a tad bulky and pretty heavy and comes with a pathetic clamp. Its nice if you are on the go though.

July 26, 200619 yr He is saying if your truck was on fire you wouldnt pull your h/u.Unless you are really fast
July 27, 200619 yr At the very least you can convert that phono output for the headphones to RCA outputs to run into your auxillary input on the HU.Radioshack would likely sell the appropriate cable.
