Xmas break would be another good time. If i dont go on a cruise.

I am going to use PA horns when I bulid my boat system for that reason.  I will have normal tweets for listening but a set of uber ones for partying at the island.  A little switch to go in between and I will have the best of both worlds, loud or good sound.

PA horns on a wakeboard tower...for the ultamite in ride & listen.

Everyone else around might not like you though.

Nope actually on a 31' Amberjack or Express hopefully.

lawl.

Gonna need a lot of MDF and a Lot of Allthread...some fiberglass would be beneficial too.

dude, I am extremely concerned about your hearing loss. earplugs aren't even gonna help you here! Be careful, man. Imagine how crappy it would be to no longer be able to hear music AT ALL!! Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!

You could wear these when you drive:

Even though knocking out more than 23dB would even be better.

all I can say is good luck on tuning ... the phase problems from multiple drivers in different locations is gonna be awful, and I won't even get into the comb filtering problems - even if you had a sperate EQ channel for EACH mid/tweet combo. For volume, you could use a JBL 2118H and a good horn driver. The 2118 is an 8" midbass with an eff of like 98 dB, it was designed to play with horns.

incase you didnt see in the iHop :)

Neither one is in as bad of condition as the pics made it out to be. Mine is going in the glove box so you can have the better looking one if it even matters.

Well I dont have much to compare it to. This will be the first active set up I will personally be setting up. I'll let you know what I can.

they both look decent from that pic...mine will be hiddin too most likely. and if this crossover doesnt work im gonna get a new clarion MCD360 becuase i know thall work because a guy running the same speakers as me (8 eminence 6.5's and 8 eminence supertweeters) runs that crossover with a kicker 650.2. but the memphis should work nicely. let me know how u like it when you set it up... :)

Mach 5's new mids. I'm waiting on Kent's amp so i can start testing them.

And for cerial, if these things perform like they look at this price...you may want t run these instead. From the specs posted and the charts posted they will offer more midbass.

No, run the Mach 5's over your Alpha's :)

And contact M5 about the home Xover stuff. I know little to nothing past doing what programs tell me to solder and adjusting slopes. :)
