Hey guys I used the search feature to do as much research as I could. I would again like to ask the opinion of the masses on a particular subject

My question is I was going to purchase the cdt 6.5 inch ef61 pro euro frame components with the upgraded tw 25 tweeter. The rms on these is 140 watts. Just what my amp makes x2 at 14 volts.

The problem I have is I was going to spring for the cdt hd 62 high def components but the rms on these is 180 watts.

Should I stick with the ef61 and power them perfectly or spring for the high defs and toss a little less power to a better set up? Both will fill the bill for what I need but I am unsure as to what to do. I do want to go with the best set up I can get but I also do not want to buy something That will not sound great a little underpowered

i would like to stick with cdt as they are authorized through woofersetc and have very good pricing. I am not intersted in un authorized components.

Thanks guys

If you're looking for CDT PM me, I'm a dealer and will get you a good price for forum members. As for the EF to HD the HD will be better but they require more than 180rms to really sing. More like 200rms. I would get the HD's with the intent on upgrading the amp later unless after you get them they're fine for you. I actually will be having a special on ES components if you're interested.
