Posted August 9, 200619 yr i have a f-150 truck and i was wondering if you could put a flip down in the headliner where the factory compass goes. I have an alpine cda-9855. i don't know how they could work together ,but if i had am external dvd player or a playstation i could probably hook it up to the monitor and run the sound throug my aux. on my alpine. is this even an possibility?? would it look good there?? whats a cheap price on a flip down?? i don't know just a thought.
August 9, 200619 yr I have the 9853, there is not a straight RCA input ... I think you have to go thru some cable or adapter box into the alpine bus to input audio. The easiest way to do this is to use a DVD player headunit to start with.

August 10, 200619 yr Author i was looking a little closer at it today and it would be right in the way of the rear view mirior. i just thought it would look cool and it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than a flip out head unit.
