Posted February 26, 200718 yr so when i put my latest head unit into my car, i left a cd in my old unit, and i have been trying to get it out. i have a power supply that i plan to hook up to it, but i can't figure out where to hook my wires up to, so i need a diagram to find out where to hook my positive and negative leads....any one know where i can get a diagram? the unit is a Clarion ProAudio DRX6375. i googled and eBay'd and all i found was a picture of the diagram but the seller on eBay made it microscopic because he only wanted buyers looking at it.
February 26, 200718 yr u need to know which of your stock wires are the 12v and grounds, etc? www.the12volt.com should have a wiring diagram, id get it for you, need to know what year and car u drive.
February 27, 200718 yr Author no, i need to know where the power and ground are on the unit itself, i dont have the wiring harness that hooks from the stock harness to the unit.
February 27, 200718 yr Hook the red and yellow to 12v + and the black to 12v - and it should turn on.
February 28, 200718 yr i'm sure he knows that chris. his problem is he doesn't have the radio harness, he doesn't know what pins are power /ground.bobby_7..as your looking at the plug, the top right pin is constant. the bottom right pin is ground. third from the left on the bottom is the ignition pin.good luck bro.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

March 1, 200718 yr Author well i tried your way and that didnt work either so i guess im stuck unless i want to buy a connector.
March 1, 200718 yr Have you tried contacting Clarion? Explain your delema. MOST companies are willing to give you the pin locations. Also sending power through the remote is a NO GO. This possiblly could have friend your board as that is an output connection.J

March 6, 200718 yr Author yea it was in my car when i bought it. i was trying to salvage the thing so that when i sell this car, i have something to put back into it, but im considering just destroying the thing to get my cd out. who knows.
