so when i put my latest head unit into my car, i left a cd in my old unit, and i have been trying to get it out. i have a power supply that i plan to hook up to it, but i can't figure out where to hook my wires up to, so i need a diagram to find out where to hook my positive and negative leads....any one know where i can get a diagram? the unit is a Clarion ProAudio DRX6375. i googled and eBay'd and all i found was a picture of the diagram but the seller on eBay made it microscopic because he only wanted buyers looking at it.

u need to know which of your stock wires are the 12v and grounds, etc?

www.the12volt.com should have a wiring diagram, id get it for you, need to know what year and car u drive.

no, i need to know where the power and ground are on the unit itself, i dont have the wiring harness that hooks from the stock harness to the unit.

Hook the red and yellow to 12v + and the black to 12v - and it should turn on.

i'm sure he knows that chris. his problem is he doesn't have the radio harness, he doesn't know what pins are power /ground.

bobby_7..as your looking at the plug, the top right pin is constant. the bottom right pin is ground. third from the left on the bottom is the ignition pin.

good luck bro.

well thank you for actually understandin what i need, first off. anyway, i ended up taking the case off and looking at the circuit board and it was marked which pin was gnd., then there was another that said acc., one that said batt., and another than said rem. i hooked my ground to gnd, then put 12 volts on batt and 5 volts on acc, and rem. i woulda thought that would turn it on, but it didnt. lastly, the setup you gave me, with the ground being on the bottom right and what not, that doesnt match up to how it is on the circuit board, but i will try it anyway.

well i tried your way and that didnt work either so i guess im stuck unless i want to buy a connector.

Have you tried contacting Clarion? Explain your delema. MOST companies are willing to give you the pin locations. Also sending power through the remote is a NO GO. This possiblly could have friend your board as that is an output connection.

i may do that, the unit is 10 years old so i didnt know if they would still have that stuff. anyway, hooking the power to the rem was the last thing i tried, so either way, everything i've done to it hasnt worked, but yea, i may have fried the board. oh well, just a good reason to tear the damn thing apart and get it out.

Rightous!!
