Posted May 2, 20178 yr So I'm going to buy a new car but before I do I want to finish buying everything i need for my system (alt+batts) my current car has probably 70amp alt and I'm wondering if it would be ok to hook up everything without a ho alt until I can get the new car really my concern is with ruining the batts (5 duracell amg 105ah g31) I'm getting a CTEK battary charger so could I just charge them every now an then or would it be to much strain on the batts? May 2, 20178 yr yep, that's ok maybe just keep an eye on running and floating voltage as they will be asking for amperage help from your alt
May 2, 20178 yr Author I hear you I really do but at the same time I feel like if I don't buy the rest now I'll put off for another 3 years I get wrapped up in other projects and put things off to jump to another example my ar I just dumped a bunch of money into that still needs optics Iv talked about it for to long I'm doing it this year no more talking about it
