Has anyone had experience with the Orion 2500.1dz model amplifier? I heard rumors of it running extremely hot. I want to run my two American Bass XFL 1224’s @ 1ohm and I’m kinda on the fence choosing between the Orion and Taramps MD5000.1. Any advice?

    I trust BigDWiz's reviews and he is impressed by ithe Orion 2500.1D's output.  I've heard about the overheating issue, but if you feed the amp with high quality 1/0 OFC wire, I think you'll be fine.  The folks reporting overheating are typically using lower than recommended gauge wire.

    BigDWiz' Certified Dyno test reported 2771 @ 1ohm load (12.7vdc)
