Posted March 30, 200718 yr looking for other monitors similar to this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824179015i had that one, sold it...like an idiot...basically i was gonna do a carPC, and that monitor has a 12v power supply, so it'd be easier to wire up in a car (with a dc-dc regulator im guessing?) than getting one with an AC power supply and using a power inverter (what i dont want to do, noise/interference, etc.) are there any other brands that have 12v DC power supplies, around the 15-17" range (wide screen preferably, but if not, 4:3 will have to do) heres a test fit of it in my dash, as you can see, 16:9 would look better, but i could make this one look decent... March 30, 200718 yr Author ok i just realized this one doesnt have rca inputs, so how would i hook up an xbox/dvd player....lol
March 30, 200718 yr You really, really need to understand KISS and finish something once man.I thought a ton of the older monitors were 12v. Any of the ones with an external power supply should be, or if not 12v at least close.
March 30, 200718 yr Author ya i cant finish one thing lol.can i hook an xbox/ps2 to that monitor since it doesnt have composite inputs?
April 3, 200718 yr How do you use a monitor if you can't have inputs on it? Are you sure they aren't just hidden behind a piece of plastic or something?Nevermind, just realized these are computer monitors. I'm not sure how to help you there... Edited April 3, 200718 yr by Big E
