April 22, 200421 yr 4ohms? Don't run it at 4ohms! Run it at 1ohm silly. THe mag can handle well over what that amp puts out hehe :ph34r: for music believe me lol Just don't go running 5hz sine waves at it with the volume all the way up.
April 22, 200421 yr Directed's amps are FAR BETTER amps than Hifonics. Thats like asking if the JBL BP1200.1 is as good as the JL 1000/1 or Hammer.What exactly makes them better? Does one sound better than the other? Build quality may be higher, but if the cheaper one works and doesn't break, who's to say it's not better than the "best" or just as good?Food for thought. April 22, 200421 yr lol i will run it at 1 ohm. i was just commenting on that typo for th 4ohm.anyone wanna comment on thatbass eq thing ?and commenting on tirefryr post, assuming the directing audio amps are better its a win win situation becuase from this ebay seller i can get it for about 10 bucks more than a price match on sounddomain for the hifonics. plus it just look awesome!
April 22, 200421 yr ...about bass EQknobs on amps, here's my rule of thumb: NEVER USE IT. 99% of the time it just accentuates a very narrow bandwidth, nothing more.
