Posted April 21, 200718 yr is there a technical way of finding out how much power an amp puts out @ 3 ohm? my boston pro60s are 3 ohm, and i was thinkin about gettin a zx550.2, and thats 205w rms x 2 @ 2 ohm, and i think 175 @ 4, i could take a ball park guess around like 190ish maybe, but is there an actual way to figure that out with math, or do i gotta get the amp, get a DMM, etc etc?VJ
April 21, 200718 yr With that amp, since there is no logical progession in power, the only way to find out would be on the test bench. Not worth the trouble. Knowing exact power is pointless anyway.
April 21, 200718 yr Author ok thats cool, i was just wondering. im guessing it would be around 190ish watts or so.what is the sweet spot for a set of boston pro60's? (how much power)
