So im thinking about getting a Alpine 9856....Should i replace my eclipse 8445 with it....or just give it 2 my dad

    The 9835 is the last Alpine short of the 9860/61 and above that I'd use.

    I wouldn't get one of those. No BEP of course the 8445 is the one and only Eclipse that doesn't have much for processing either. IMO you'd be better off with any of the older units that do.

    If I had all the bells and whistles of processing, chances are that I honestly probably wouldn't know what to do with it.
