Does anyone know if the liquid sound deadeners that you roll on work as good as the mats.

    Depends on how thickly it's applied. If multiple coats are used, sure. Liquid definitely has advantages and drawbacks compared to mat.

    If you have irregular surfaces to cover, liquids can be a lifesaver...but they require drying time that mats don't.

    Both require excellent surface prep.

    A product I would suggest to make application easier would be second skin's spectrum sludge, When i have ~300 of spare cash laying around, 5 gallons of that stuff will magically appear at my door in 3-7 days.

    Would 5 gallons do the whole car i mean for now i just want to do the trunk. About how many squere feet does it take to do a trunk usually.
