Not sure if this has been asked before. But I have been considering going with a 15" mag. I know ported is louder. I am just wondering how much or if you loosing power handling going ported. I know that different size sealed boxes do change your power handling. Smaller boxes will require more power do to the compression the speaker is under when it pulls back for a bass hit. Also thinking about going with 34hz tune if I do go ported. What amp would guys recommend for a setup like that and i dont plan on going to a bass comp. But wouldn't mind having the power to show off once in a while.

I dont have an amp. Thinking about making a 3^3 box tuned at 34hz.

I would stick with what we have on our web site for ported enclosures. Tuning that high is fine, but you won't un-lock all the low frequency potential the 15's are capable of. And that box is too small - you need at least 3.5 cubes after port and driver displacement.
