Posted June 7, 200718 yr hey all, i just signed in w/ the forum. actually, what i wanna know is what size sub/s is best for my application. first of all, i plan on purchasing the Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS comps powered by the Zed Audio Gladius Burr Brown amp. has ne1 listened to these cause i agree the front stage is the most imporant. im building a SQ system for my 02 dodge ram single cab. so, air flow is a prob. my friend says that a 12 would be too big, but does it depend on the mounting depth + box size? I love subs like the crystal cmpx2 that they only make in a 12 and 15. even if say a 12 would fit; would it be too much? he also said 2 8's is best for sq but idk how. i realize sq is subjective, but only to a certain extent. id like to do 1 10

June 7, 200718 yr Author thx not that much prlly not big nough for a 12 but i still have my JL Audio 10W7 which barely fits to give you an idea. but thats a big driver which is y i asked if i could do a 12. howev, i think i should focus on finding smaller drivers

June 7, 200718 yr Author first off, thx to all for your prompt help. i measured behind the middle console, which is bolted down and at a slant. also, i measured behind the passenger seat, which is adjustable, at approx 2 ft of clearance when moved foward.middle console (approx)top: 13"middle: 16"bottom: 17"heres a link to give you an idea:http://www.dupontregistry.com/Celebritycar...C-9363FD33193B}i do like rainbow so ill look into those cause i havent heard nething bout em. what bout a Fi Q10 or crystal? I would consider a w6v2 but dont see the point since i have a w7 (which i got for a steal). is the biggest utopia an 8"?
