Hifonics BXi1606D - 1600w RMS x 1 ohm

U.S. Amps XT-4000D - 1500w RMS x 1 ohm

both are close in price but the us amps is considered entry level and the hifonics isnt

not sure what do you guys think?

using them on 2 12" RE SEs at 1 ohm

theres nothing really similar for the XT though

That Hifonics is entry level in my mind.... Brutus series amp? Teh suck.

How much are you wanting to spend here?

under $300

both those amps are under $250

hifonics is entry level all the way up to thier goliath, maxximus and amps in that catagory. the brutus series are nice amps, but no where near top of the heap.

either would be a good choice, however, i think i would lean towards the us amp myself.

I wouldn't hesitate to get the USAmps.

Although I'd probably get something used first...

Kicker KX1200.2 on ebay if theres any left.

Had refurbished for 279 I believe.

My friend bought 2 of them and havent had one problem yet.

I'd take a KX series over a mid-level Hifonics any day...definitely a ZX over your choices.

well for one i need an amp stable down to 1 ohm and i'm pretty sure the zx line is only stable down to 2

check you pms. get the md2d from your dealer. AMAZING price for the wattage and miles ahead of the Xterminator.

just for chits and giggles i picked up the bxi1606d, it kinda sucks but it's probably good for burps

yeah, your right, kicker is that much better then re.

mainstreme or not, kicker's quality is top notch, and far better then hifonics anyday. and i'll reserve my opinion on re and it's previous owner, scott (Fi) not included.

There have been kickers and hifonics refurbs, and others on ubid lately. I swear some of them are going right over to ebay for more $ as some people were buying 15 at once cheaper than ebay.
