some of our ebay alarm deals going on. check them out.

So tempting...

Besides remote start and a small display screen, what are the advantages of the 7900 over the 3002?

Does remote start really make your starter go bad faster, or is that a hoax?

7900 Has more features I would imagine, mainly it's got a two way pager with color screen. First of it's kind.

Not sure about if adding a starter makes it go bad faster. I'ver never personally owned a starter. I'll let you know though, i'll be buying a 7900 soon I think.

Remote start causes no excess wear on your starter. It's the same as if you go out to your vehicle and start it via the ignition and let it run. Whomever told you that needs to be smacked.

Mark, any chance on you being able to get any Clifford products?

How hard are these to install yourself? Is it just basic wiring, plug and play that sorta thing?

YES! I have them, they're up on the shop, if you have an specific model in mind let me know.

YES, they are a pain in the A$$ to install. If you've never done one, this is deff something you should pay someone to do.

This is mostly from way back when, when starters first came out.

When they did not start the car, the starter would try 3-5 times.

This is good, except some of those old first gen units wouldnt always recieve the signal that the engine had started and would slam the pinion gear of your starter into the spinning flywheel.

Whoops...
