go with the gcon I have a dcon12 in a sealed box with 300 wats going to it and it sounds nice but ther is not that mutch output when I get some more money I am going to switch to the gcon

I found out what the problem was I was using my brothers cheap mp3 player I put in a cd and it was night and day I dont have that problem with my ipod it most be the way he saved his songs to the mp3 player I like the output now if I wont more later I can go ported

I just put my dcon 12 in a 1.3cf sealed box it is air tite have 300 wats going to it and it sounds nice but I thaught with all the hype it would be better I know the sealed box is part of it but I have onely about 15 minents of play time on the sub so with more play time will the sub sound better I will have pic of my old setup and my new one up tomarow

I cant seam to find meney review's for the dcon in a sealed box will the 360w be ok for this sub or shud I go with the 300w rms

I am about to order a dcon 12 and wont to tray it out in a sealed box how will it sound in 1.3cf with 360 wats going to it my ? is how will it compare to my ported sa-8 in .75cf @32hz with 500 wats going to it I wont beter sq and if the bass is the same I will be happy and when I wont more bass down the rode I can make a ported box for it

I was in the same spote you are in but a bit worse I am 26 years old and at the beging of the year I waed 320 pounds I am 6'1 I got winded going up a flit of stares I wonted to lose wate but I did not wont to work out so I changed my dite I went from fast food and pizza all the time to chicken and fish and tirkey with brown rice and some mixed veg it took a wile to get used to it but it is all I eat now and her it is 9 munts later and I have droped 60 pounds I now way 260 puunds I know it is still over wate but I have not ben to the gym or worked out sence I got out of high school I am still losing wate by wachin what I eat but I still drink like a fish I have had 4 Johnny Walker blacks sencs I got of work I know that does not help with the wate loss but in my mind little steps add up to the big pic bast of luck to you and dont geve up it will be hard the first month or so

I got a Rockford Fosgate R500.1 for my sa-8 it puts out 500 Watts x 1 @ 2-Ohms and the sub takes it all day long with know problems you can find the amp on ebay for $140 with free shiping thes set up is nice but dont put the amp under a seat or it might overheat

the audio shop in town put it on I did not whin enething ther was three diferent clases up to 23in of cone in clase one 24-35in in clase two and 36in and up in three with all the power you wont in each class but I hit beter then the 3rd place car in clase two and the 2ed place in clase two onely hit a 131.8 that is onely .1db more then I did and i was runing one 8in sub and the hdc3 was beter then mine but we rane with the car's seald up and his sub/box did not like that with the dors oppen his was a lot loder then mine

I hit a 131.7 with one sa-8 in a .75cf box tund to 32hz of a rf 500.1 I cant rember what song I played it is in a 06 chevy equinox and I did beter then some of the people with a par of 10's and single ported 12's I feal bad for the kid with the aq hdc3 12 off 1000+ wats he onely hit a 128.6 but his was in a reg cab truck with the sub facing the frunt and the port facing up betwing the seats
