  1.  I’ve been asked at least a couple dozen times in the last month how we disciplined Annikya growing up. The answer. She had to write an essay every time to reflect. Length depended on severity.

About the only other thing I ever say is she has always had to make her own choices. The example I give is choosing clothes to wear. She would be given three outfits and had to choose which one.

Was unexpected so many people asked me that. From kids she graduated with to other parents.

Something wrong with me....but i would way rather be in MN.

Had a great swim today.  Soccer practice and a Mexican meal in Spanish with the boys.  I am so lost, they can speak so far over my head.

Annikya kills it with the Spanish. Is embarrassing to order when I’m with her.

Speaking of she magically showed up here today! Guess she was homesick, so jumped a plane. Had a short, but nice chat, before she ran off for the night to hang out with a friend.

Not staying at the beach this time.  Chose a bed and better hot tub so I can work more instead of the view.

Still in Orange County I assume. I went the other way out of LA this year and stayed in Oxnard. Lots of cool dock houses. Shit for food.

Was in Oxford the prior week. So could say I’ve been from Oxford to Oxnard haha

  4.  My money is on the ECM. I had a Honda from that era that did the same thing. I validated through research that it was infact a “fuel economy mode” in the ECM.  That did not necessarily correspond with speed or voltage load.  Mine would usually do it after I got off the interstate.

It is completely normal and I would not stress over it. Mostly because there’s nothing you can do about it. Other than installing an independent charging system.

What/where do you have the voltage gauge wired up to?

Trump is coming to town, so half of downtown is getting shut down in a few hours.

He and the VP both have visited Aspen at different times this year. Makes a nice mess of things.

Damn Nem. I'm not even kidding, when I saw the last pic on Insta I thought, why did he take a picture of his car on that last pic?

Haha! I thought the truck was so clean it was invisible. That or was like a “done and gone” pic.

FUCK that!  Take some time off!  No sense in making other's rich.

Meh. I take the lions share and and am a workaholic. I am already self-employed. And owning the business would come with added facets of stress with minimum income gain.

Managed to only work 55 this week and get a full two days off.

Ended up spending one of them in the emergency room with my sister. And the other with my daughter in the emergency room in Mississippi. Everyone is alright.

I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF THAT!

Holy shit you're smart sometimes.  Sled rentals are of course a thing right?!

Being way out there in the snow with no one around sounds amazing.

Book a guide, it is worth it.  Otherwise you'll be stuck....A LOT

Unfortunately guided Tours on snowmobiles was all I could fine when I looked up rentals. I doubt I could get them to go anywhere remotely where I would want to be.

The other option if you come in the winter. Ride the gondola up to one of the restaurants on Aspen or Snowmass mountain. Pretty sure there are a couple five stars ones. Then just kick back and watch snow bunnies all day!!

Any other time of year I just drive to the top of the mountain. ;)

I have new ideas after solidifying my thoughts, hence me bringing it up again.

My memory is garbage now.  Sorry if I'm asking you to repeat yourself.

I used to be the smartest person in the room but now my brain is starting to show some honest fatigue.   I hope it's not early onset...

The advice I gave on the phone that I will give again here for anybody else interested. Most tattoo artist now a days are good at what they do. But specialize in certain styles and have different techniques. The trick is when you see a tattoo that catches your eye ask the person who did the tattoo.

So the flipside of that coin and the technique I employ. Since I am generally going to a particular artist I look at their work and pick something I know they will excel at.

So if you want me to do the tattoo, I would suggest looking at my portfolio for the reasons stated above. My handle on the Gram is J_roadtatts.

I no longer wish to be the smartest person in the room. I will take being the happiest. :D

I don't know any tattoo people and I have little to know illustrative ability.  Is it a thing where I could consult with an artist and come up with a design still?  Without causing me to mortgage my home?

I have several ideas in my mind but I'm not artistic in this way.  I understand production and documentation.   I'm not so great at turning my ideas into images.

The consult won’t cost you. It is if you ask for a drawing afterwards that a deposit is usually required. That will range widely based on how elaborate and artist obviously.

The deposit is a token to show some degree commitment. As sometimes the drawing and prep will take longer than Tattoo. Time is money, and we get asked to draw a lot of things so helps  arrange our time.

Do your homework just like I suggested when we spoke on the phone. In regards to honing in on an artist and/or style that you like.

PM what you have in mind and I will assist you the best I can. Whether it be designing it for you or helping you navigate your local shops most efficiently.

I can ask my daughter if she can get someone.

I spoke with her and she would still gladly take the letter. I guess it was a technical deadline of some sort, but will still accepted.

Tell Her please and thank you for me!

Deadline is today so yeah. I was overly optimistic her other resources would pay off, otherwise would’ve asked a couple days ago. Also have been slammed.

  13.  Huge favor to ask of anyone that may be able to help. Annikya needs a few more sorority recommendation letters from past sorority sisters, to get excepted into a sorority.

So I was curious if anyones wife or someone they know was in a sorority, and happens to have a little free time today to help a little honey out? She can send her portfolio and resume to help them out These are the sororities. AOPi, Alpha Phi, chi omega, and KD

I know it’s one in 1 million. But out of other resources and promised her I would ask.

Odd to me that you think that.  I don't think any of them look alike.  I can distinguish any of them without issue.

Not saying I can’t distinguish. Just saying they all have the same similar styling from the side and back. I will gladly post pics to back my case.

Don’t mind me buddy, I’m just feeling extra feisty this week. On day eight working 10+ hour days at the scab factory. That and have a rash over half my body.

    How are you doing Ryan?

    She must be a rebel.

Rebelling against these full frame-less crossovers.  ;)

Get one with a manual and you’ll really be a rebel.

Seriously though they do win my heart in styling. Same with the FJ. Some of the more distinct looking vehicles on the road today.

In a time when the Jeep, bmw, Porsche, Honda, Explorer etc literally look the same from the side and back. All have a swoop in the bottom body line, an outward arch above the top line and doors that look like fruit bowls.
