  4. i just have one battery, i would hook up another amp but i dont have one lol. i think my amp is fried..good thing it is still under warranty. thanks for all the help guys appreciate it.
  5. using 4 gauge wire cuz the 2 gauge didnt seem that much bigger. and by 0.00 i was measuring the output voltage (for the speakers). hook up my re se that is known to be working to the amp, no sound. protect light stays on =(.
  6. no, fuse looks normal so i didnt
  7. yea but why is it going to protect mode?
  8. hello guys i have an ap15001d, ive been running it at 1ohm feeding 1200-1400 watts to a lvl 4. recently the amp kept on going to protect mode, i use a dmm to measure voltage, shows a result of 0.00 fuse seems to be ok, so is grounding. does anyone know how to find out what's going on? thanks

my setup + bass i love you

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0-46800xr4 my phone's camera is quite nice and it captures most of the tones correctly so make sure you are listening through a subwoofer. let me know what you guys think! i will try to make an excursion video later!

    amplifier gain question

    very informative, thanks!
  12. So when trying to calculate your voltage, do you use ur ideal ohm load or the actual ohm load measured with a dmm? also say your amp does 1500 watts @ 1ohm, will it still be putting out that much or close to after impedance rises (say to 1.4ohm)?

hey just wondering what car do you drive and what kind of number do u hit? on a side note i think the dc would be better on ported
