    POWER ACOUSTIK LFA1-4000D this is the new amp im wanting to buy was hoping to get some feedback on it being matched with the FI SSD12D2? it does 1200rms @ 4ohms and has a 100 signal to noise ratio

    hi im waiting for my FI SSD12D2 and i have a soundstream XTA880.2 and im gonna bridge it to run a 800rms 4ohm load to the sub in a 2.4cuft slot port box i have a 4g wire from my alt to my stock batt and a 4g ground from neg post to strut tower and a 3 farad spl cap can anyone plz give me sum tips to maximize my setup...i have a stock 90amp alt also also i have the flat coil option on the FI SSD12D2. the amp will b @ 4ohm so it will b a clean 800 rms if im right ? any info will help so i can make any changes b4 it gets here

    ok yeah my cap has a digital readout and it doesnt drop below 13 @ idle Cranked up loud as hell.......i just sold my soundstream today and am shoppin 4 a amp any good ideas?

    That amp will do fine, eventually you may want to get a one channel amp that does around 800-1000rms @ 1 ohm. I would ditch the cap and by a voltmeter (if you run into dimming problems or low voltage then you will need to buy a extra battery or bigger stock battery), you should be fine. what do u mean by "VOLTMETER" i was lookin @ a "BATCAP 800" if i switch out the cap for one of these will i be good even when i upgrade to a better amp.....ive been lookin @ a RF 1501bd the light colored one with the blue badge on top its an older model it says it does 750rms @ 4ohms i wanna stay @ 4 ohms cuz its cleaner and more controlled...right? thats what i was always told at my local shop and by family?
