Awesome pics! I miss being on the water so much. I was a deck hand for a small marine towing company for a while. Then I worked at International Ship Repair here in the Port of Tampa as a deck hand on their tug boat. Moved the crane barges around and assisted putting the ships on and off the dry docks. Think those ships are huge, try walking underneath one that's blocked up on a dry dock, lol. That shit is crazy.

Removed aluminum trim pieces to allow more air flow across cooling fins.

Awesome work Red. Think this will be playing by PCA's toy drive show?

Love that Sky High 14 gauge. Running some for my tweets. Awesome build man. Love the progression. Your attention to detail is excellent. I try to keep my stuff lookin clean, but just don't have the patience to do all the little tedious things that go the extra mile in making it look as good as yours. keep up the good work!

Cleaned up the back and flipped the box around so it's now loading off the passenger side. Much happier with it now, it had been effin with my OCD, lol.

Sick build! Movin a shit ton of air. PCA is having it's annual toy drive show Nov 16th here in Tampa, maybe you could come over? Would love to hear this.

Thanks. Awesome subs! You won't be disappointed.

Replaced the batt terminals under the hood. Grounds in the back. The one going thru the floorboard connects to the frame underneath. Batt installed. And, the box back in. Port is firing at the batt, thinking of putting a loading wall in front of the batt.

Another 75ah of reserve going in soon.

Thanks, I will take that into consideration. Yes sir. That's the way I like it.

Going to look for a used Sundown 2K at income tax. I want more than a 1500, but don't want to shell out for a 2500, lol.

Thanks. I am very impressed with the SQ and output. Everyone who has heard it can't believe it's only a singe 12 and on a $100 amp at that. I'm sure you will gain some bottom end, and maybe even a little output, once you move to the bigger box. The only thing I would ever give this sub up for is if I had the opportunity to move up to a Zv4. Plan on having this baby for a long time.

Well, guess this is it for the build log until I get another batt and a better amp. Very happy with the outcome of this build, especially for the price. This is a budget build believe it or not. Around $500. Took it out and beat on it for about 45 mins, amp is way cooler than it would have been before the fans.

Pedro came thru and helped me install the fans for my Shark. Now I have a wind tunnel behind my box. These are the fans he gave me all the way back when I had the Crunch GP3K. Didn't get a chance to use them before it blew. Thanks Pedro!

Yesir! Definitely a satisfied customer.

Moved the box over so the port is loading off the side of the trunk now.

So weird. If I click Edit and then save, they show up. But as soon as I refresh the page, they are gone again.
-
Can anyone see my pics? They were there when I posted them, but now they are gone.

Whoot! No B-stock designation on the box like the other one. Seems they sent me a new A-stock replacement. Sundown just earned a customer for life. You can see the difference in the glue joint and the fact that the new one has screws holding the spider down as well as heat shrink on the leads.

Something is up with the site. I noticed my sig pics weren't showing either. For some reason the forum is blocking all hosted pics.

Just got word from Sundown today, a replacement X12 will be shipped out by tomorrow!
