i agree with u bassahaulic. some ppl will love them cause its "different", but i loved the look of the gen 2's with that big ol' ass they have now on topic that sucks one fried on u and hope fi hooks u up

ok so i've currently got a single RF power HX2 15 on a saz1500. problem #1 its got a blown coil, problem #2 its currently in a sealed box im pretty sure is to damn small. the reason for the small sealed is i had to work with the wood i had layin around to make it fit so i could use my back seat. previous box was 4ft^3 ported tuned at 33hz. now im almost certain i dont have room back there for 4 cubes ported if i reconed the sub with upgraded coil and suspension. so im asking you guys for suggestions on a setup that will get loud, low, and move some air while sounding good in the cargo area of the 93 mustang. still plan on using the saz1500. been looking at and liking the skar 12's. but also loving the thought of a couple sa-8's cause there "cute" and do work. any ideas or recommendations would be much appreciated. especially if anyone has experience with this model stang. also been thinkin wall it behind the rear seats with a couple 15's or something. ill get measurements of the whole hatch area on my lunch break if that helps

what kind of vehicle is this going in? ssa xcon, sa nightshade or Z v2, fi btl, incriminator death penalty or death row.....a good sub helps but the box will make or break the system. avoid premade boxes like the link u posted, if u get a good box built or get a design n build urself it will be alot louder and sound better. for a single 15 4cu. ft. ported tuned at 33hz is perfect for rap on a daily system. i would definately upgrade ur electrical, as im running a single 15 on a saz1500 and its hell on my stock alt. and battery. within a month of having the car i had to swap out the alternator with one i had layin around and i doubt it'll last long. also just to tip make sure ur stereo has sub outputs that helps alot that most newbies dont know

I read on one of the forums the settings are complicated. is this true? its a nice amp for sure, especially for the $9000 off the normal retail price. but not a fan of kicker. i woulda threw a couple hundred with that mone and got an audioque 20k

go 1 15 ported theres not enough room for 2 15's ported with the right size box. but u could probably do 2 15's sealed, but i would definately go ported. i recently got a 93 mustang and my 3.5 cu ft single 15 box is to big so i had to go sealed. i honestly hate it im like half as loud as i was with the ported setup

i totally know where ur comin from man, except i wont pay retail for anything unless its absolutely necessary. my saz-1500 is the best $120 investment i ever made! once u go sundown after only using only mainstream(RF, kicker) and cheap mainstream(lanzar, pyle) nothing compares. especially since very few brands put out rated power and sundown puts out more than rated. sundown FTW!

thats awesome man..... i wish i could find more HX2's but there kinda hard to find in great shape and at a good price. if you werent located in finland id try everthing to buy a cpl of them from ya lol, but shipping and customs would probably be a bitch and cost an arm and a leg

real nice work man.........also are those punch hx2 12's in the second pic and the pic comparin it to the btl? ive got a power hx2 15 and i love it its currently only runnin on 1 coil on my saz-1500 cuz i killed the other coil. hopefully next pay day or the one after im gettin a recone with upgraded coil n soft parts.

tune at 33hz if u decide to change ur port tuning.......my first box i 1st tuned it at 30hz which lows was all it really had, 2nd try i was told try 40hz for my music choice which had no lows at all, then 3rd try i tuned at 33hz and it hit the low-lows real good and still hit the higher notes great...im currentl running sealed and it sucks, not enough room in my new car for ported while keeping my rear seats. guess its time to save up for a smaller sub lol...... nice setup btw

r you looking to still have a functional back seat in this vehicle? since u want a caprice wagon and good ones aren't easy to find a good deal on, obviously you want a v-8. theres always the 80's malibu wagon, the 78-81 come stock with with 305's n 350's. or if you want something real cool and know wut ur doin to build a hot-rod, i got 98 astro van in my backyard with a blown motor beggin for a v-8 implant. there was one on pinks runnin 10's in the 1/4. its in oklahoma though but can be yours for a couple hundred. its a 1 owner fully loaded perfect inside and out .......got chevy small blocks settin around too lol. next summer will begin my transplant. a beefed sbc 350 in my 93 foxbody mustang hatch. gotta fix the ford up right lol or im pretty sure u could squeeze 4 15's in one of these plus a v8... my first car 77 PINTO cruisin wagon had two fleamarket twelves(u know the chrome ones that came in a bandpass with "bass light rings") on a pyle 400w and thought i was the shit...lol

ur only real options are get a pink flabby recones recone from **** or contact forevrbumpn on the smd forum. i've got a RF power hx2 15 with a burnt coil and looked everywhere for a recone and those were all i could find. u could try FI audio also. u will have to ship ur sub to any of those places btw cause it'll be a custom recone n they gotta have the sub to build it

what kinda car is this goin in? hatchback? also is this for a 15" or 18"? . i recently ot a 93 mustang hatch and been trying to figure out a box design for a single 15. i really like how this is looking, especially by removing the "back" part of the seats and padding the box. very good idea there man, i never thought of that which will give me more space to work with. is there a reason u decided sub back port forward? lol backseat passengers will have air conditioning
