  1. Well if people would take the time to read my first post I stated I do not expect them to keep up with my sub stage....call me wierd but I dont drive around listening to my system full tilt all the time. My sub is turned down most all the time, I just want something with decent output that will sound ok without an amp.

  2. Problem is I dont want coax, I asked for opinions on what would be a good comp. set off HU power....didnt ask u guys if I need an amp for components or if they make small amps or if coax would be the better option.

Thank you to the very few that have actually given answers to my question

  3. My trunk is completely full between a huge box, my m2a, and nsb I have no room...Id like to keep it under 200. I listen to most any kind of music, korn, limp bizkit, journey, ozzy, jimi hendrix, and rap when I wanna tickle my ears. I want 6.5s, mounting depth doesnt matter as in worse case I can make spacers.

  4. I would like some suggestions on a component set but have no plans to amp them. Please do not tell me its not that hard or just get a cheap speaker amp, I DO NOT WANT TO AMP THEM. I have absolutely no space for it.

My sub stage is in my sig, I am not asking for a component set to keep up with it as I rarely have my sub full tilt. Right now I have a set of RE Audio Coax 6.5s, and well they just blow....pretty sure my stock 4x6s/tweeter were louder and sounded better. I already have a tweeter pod from the stock ones, only went to coax to tide me over because my 14 year old speakers gave out.

Sooooo, what I have been look at are CDT Classics, IA component set, RSDs, Arc Audio KS6006, and the Image Dynamics CTX.

I tried to cover everything so if you need anymore info ask.

    Thanks

  5. nice !:fing34:

why did not you used the btl ?

How does the DC sub sound in that (good) box ?

Im not using enough power to make the BTL worth it in my eyes, The DC sounds great

My last setup was the BTL on a saz1500v1 with big 3 in a 2.1cu box with around 33sq in of port, this being the XL in the 2.4 with 47sq in of port, m2a, nsb100 is QUITE the improvement over the BTL setup....Im sure its the box not the sub but I really happy with the outcome

  6. Will be going up to the Chicago area later and am wondering if anyone would like to meet up and shoot the breeze bout some audio, always love meeting people with the same hobbies.

I will be around South Holland and Crete IL, if anyone would like to meet up just let me know . Would love to hear someones system or let someone else hear my system.

    Thanks, Randy

  7. Fi FTW, go with an American sub

Sundown is an American Based Company so his money stays in the good ol' USA!

American HQ ya...but none of their products are made here, money goes to china for them to make the stuff. Sundown is a great company and makes great products just not a fan of china

Eh...as far as Car Audio or everything? Cuz no sub is truly 100% made in the US, and most of the stuff you come into contact with in your daily life probably came from there too lol.

Fi is 100% U.S. and I believe SSA subs are also...I understand that Im gonna have to buy and be around foreign products everyday, so when I get the chance to buy somthn to support Americans Im gonna do it.

  8. What's the point of having a sticker? Definitely if you don't compete or go to events to help promote the product. Because in the end, Teams are formed to help promote product and show its potential in a respectable install.

But for the most part, people on certain "Teams" are only because they get a product at a great discount, and not entirely because its the best for their install.

Also you have to look at it from the manufactures point of view. If your allowed on a Team, whatever you do reflects them. So if you make a mistake, it could hurt the whole company's reputation.

If you want to be on a "Team", go make your own with your friends. That's really the best advise I can give.

    Agreed ^

Just keep buying their products and support them, they let the consumer do the talking for their subs so why have a team...they dont have ads and promotions posted at every audio site on the planet, they dont post videos of their subs burping a stupid high number in a crx with redic amounts of power so kids will run out and buy them.
