New website is in the works. I was tried looking. -
Cool thanks for the response. I know you meant the Amazing Goop. I have a Loctite 1 minute Epoxy but definitely not using that! LOL. On a sidenote I need to finish putting up pics of my pillars.

Ok so here is my question. I am reconing my sub. My friend has leftover glue from his recone. He ordered this glue from Fi and it came with a bottle of activator. He gave me this glue for my recone and I need to know if its okay to use with out the activator. i placed a bead of it to dry and it hardened up, Do I really need it to complete my recone process. If not I have a tube of Goop that I want to use for the repair, I was told its okay to use it for the recone. If there is anything else that I can get locally please let me know. I did google to find out any info but couldnt find it. Thanks in advance.

Doors lookin great so far. That 18 drops of hardener should have been more then enough. Has it dried any since yesterday? -
Well guys I been on this forum for a lil while and its overdue that I make a build log. I dont have much $ flow to work with so, I have to sacrifice some things to get what I have. This enclosure was originally for a 15" Fi BL, it was 3.5 ft sq, tuned to 34hz. I redid it for a 15" FI BTL. Pretty much took the face off and had help from a friend guide me through it. This was a quick fix for my enclosure and it still holding on. I dont hve much pics of the build log, but I will post what I have. I redid the enclosure to 4 ft sq tuned to 34Hz. I used PVC for aeros and flared them, but not so good job.

Props. I likey. Sounds good and clean look to the wall. I want one of those trucks.

2 15's would be my vote. But a decent 18 over the infinitys gets my vote.

Damn i bet it feels good to have one.

Great deal Kyle. I like to see people get shown love like that.

Here is a pic of a test aim, FAIL! Some how they ended up pointing downward. Had to pull the darn ring off. Bud Light sign in the back, on my garage wall. FTW After a little re-aiming I got this. Looks alot better. Checking the aim real quick Heres a sideview for you all. This is it for tonight. More pics tomorrow.

Here are some pics of the pillars I just did. They will only have the T2 tweeters there mounted. I aimed them out a little, I dont know a damn thing about aiming, LOL. In this one I rounded out the factory holes to fit the cup for the tweeter. A pic of the mounting rings. Took some work but got her done. Here is a close up with one flush cup in there. So yall let me know what you think. Any suggestions for my next time on what I should do. I wish I would have used thinner MDF for the rings.

Lookin real good man for the first time. I just finished my pillars but havent posted them yet. But I'll send you the link.

AGM batteries sitting below 12V
raolito1980 replied to kryptonitewhite's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
It could be a draw as Mechman stated. My cadillac had a very small draw and nontheless it killed 3 batteries. But I couldnt find the draw which sucked. -
Need my amp fixed Memphis 16-MCD 25000
raolito1980 posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Ok so I mounted my amp on my enclosure. Well after blasting my system for a couple months it failed. One day my sub started sounding slappy. So I took my sub out, looked okay. Put it back in its place. Well I checked everything wiring etc. I then moved my amp around and heard a rattle. This is what I found, broken off capacitor, thats what DBR told me it was. And then I found 2 burned resistors behind the RCA input/outputs. Anyone that can help me get this back to playing please hit me up. I sent these same pics to DBR and they told me they couldnt fix it, and there was another shop I could ask about it. The board is not burned, it just looks black because of the burned resistors. Amp was playing when I took it out. It didnt play to full capacity though. This is where the capacitor goes. Right beside this one. These are the 2 resistors that burned up. -

Great build man. I wish I could do the deck like yours, but my double dine needs space in the back. You gave an idea too late on my tweeter location. I actually started doing my tweeters in my a-pillars. Keep up the great work. I am glued on this build. -
Welcome. Im from Houston. Youll love it here.
