  1. i always use 5min epoxy on the spiders, and amazing good on the surround and the dust cap.

Cool thanks for the response. I know you meant the Amazing Goop. I have a Loctite 1 minute Epoxy but definitely not using that! LOL. On a sidenote I need to finish putting up pics of my pillars.

  2. Ok so here is my question. I am reconing my sub. My friend has leftover glue from his recone. He ordered this glue from Fi and it came with a bottle of activator. He gave me this glue for my recone and I need to know if its okay to use with out the activator. i placed a bead of it to dry and it hardened up, Do I really need it to complete my recone process. If not I have a tube of Goop that I want to use for the repair, I was told its okay to use it for the recone. If there is anything else that I can get locally please let me know. I did google to find out any info but couldnt find it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks OJ, these are almost finished, just need to finish these, paint em with textured paint. I wish I could wrap these. But maybe later.

  6. Here are some pics of the pillars I just did. They will only have the T2 tweeters there mounted. I aimed them out a little, I dont know a damn thing about aiming, LOL.

So yall let me know what you think. Any suggestions for my next time on what I should do. I wish I would have used thinner MDF for the rings.

  7. Whichever email you used to send him an email I would think...

Hey bro, when my Q is built. Is Fi going to ship the prepaid shipping label with the sub?

They said they were going to email you the prepaid label. Whenever you got just print it out and tape to the package. Then drop it off at UPS. They are not in a hurry to get that sub yet. Im sure your Q is in the works though. Be patient my friend.

  8. Ok so I mounted my amp on my enclosure. Well after blasting my system for a couple months it failed. One day my sub started sounding slappy. So I took my sub out, looked okay. Put it back in its place. Well I checked everything wiring etc. I then moved my amp around and heard a rattle. This is what I found, broken off capacitor, thats what DBR told me it was. And then I found 2 burned resistors behind the RCA input/outputs. Anyone that can help me get this back to playing please hit me up. I sent these same pics to DBR and they told me they couldnt fix it, and there was another shop I could ask about it. The board is not burned, it just looks black because of the burned resistors. Amp was playing when I took it out. It didnt play to full capacity though.

This is where the capacitor goes. Right beside this one.
