    8 Cubes @ 34 hz Pair of 15's- Plexi

Where in NY are you at? I'm in CNY, about an hour from 'Cuse. I'm in Brooklyn. Expect the shipping to be parallel to what the enclosure will run you. Old Dominion was the carrier and it arrived without a scratch on the plexi or dings on the enclosure itself.

Actually you could get away with the Nighshades in a box that size. I think that they would sound nice and work quite well. I have my Nightshade 12's in a much larger box than reccomended and they friggin pound. The reccomended for the 12's is 1.5 per sub and mine are in 2. Up until recently I had the loudest daily driver with a pair of Nighshade 12's too and was only topped by .5db, and was only due to the guy having 2 more batteries and a ho alt that I don't have. Thanks for the input......I was going to throw the Nightshades in this enclosure first before coining up for a new enclosure. The numbers in your sig are very impressive as you're running twelves.

Thanks to all for the views, inquiries and compliments about my set-up. With me being located in NY, the shipping for this enclosure was almost as much as the box itself. After being quoted ridiculous prices and seeing subpar materials and craftmanship from local shops, I decided to roll the dice and rock with Fishercustoms. I couldn't have beeen happier with my decision. I'm actually looking at another enclosure in the immediate future. I just learned the importance of having tied down tinsel leads on the spiders of subs. My SX's have a slightly annoying tinsel slap at high volumes. I'm looking at Sundown 15 Nightshades.....and they require a significantly smaller box.

Thanks for the compliment Jason!!!! I matched the gains on both amps to the voltage off my HU so I'm pretty good. I see that you're also running SunDown amps......nothing but pure clean, underrated power. Even though the subs are rated for 1Krms, they're definitely handling the 1600+Rms that the SAZ 1500D's are churning out. It also just happens that the SX's are dentical to the MX's with the only difference being the surrounds and the magnets. The Qs, Ts, & excursion parameters are all the same and since I'm not competing, I didn't feel the need to go all out. If I do happen to get a bit overzealous with the volume, I have a valid excuse to upgrade to some Nightshades!!! More Pics as well...take a look at the voltage on my cap!!

Exactly as I imagined!!! True story.......I was sold on your skills after viewing the forum and I'm glad I decided to pony up and commit with this enclosure. Subs, amps, & batteries are waiting for this puppy to arrive. I hope this doesn't get banged up while in transit!!

    SAZ-3000D for 2 RE SX15 D2's @2ohms?

Thanks to all for chiming in.......very much appreciated. I stumbled acrossed the Nightshades a bit too late, but they will definitely be my replacement sub should things go awry with the SX's. I'm still wondering if I need any assistance with my electrical system. This is my first somewhat big system. Thanks again folks.......I could get comfortable here

    SAZ-3000D for 2 RE SX15 D2's @2ohms?

Wow......that reply came as soon as I pressed the "Send" button!!! It looks like I'll be getting more power for my money indeed as I just purchased 2 SAZ-1500D's as recommended. I read the thread dedicated to this amp and the numbers basically speak for themselves.....and I'd be quite foolish to sleep on the deal that's about to expire! What upgrades do you recommend for my set-up? I'm going to run 0/ga. power and grounds to the rear and re-do my Big 3 and throw in a 200amp alt. as well. What's a good power supply for my daily driver? Thanks again to all for your recommendations.
  10. Greetings Folks, I'm in the process of upgrading my setup to 2 RE Audio SX15's and I'm on the verge of crossing over into Sundown's territory by powering them with a SAZ-3000D. The amp will see a 2ohm load. I have no intentions of competing but I want to shake things up whenever I get the urge (usually when cops aren't present). Would this be an ideal amp for these subs as a daily driver? The subs are going in a 8 cube CRX box tuned to 34hz. The vehicle is a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Thanks to all for your views/replies!!

    2001 Tahoe Enclosure

Greetings All!! I've seen the boxes made by Fisher Customs and I must have one!!! I'll be purchasing 2 RE AUdio SX15's and I need a CRX style enclosure to do them justice. I don't have the dimensions on my vehicle and I was curious to know if an enclosure has been made for a Tahoe previously. I'll also be pairing them up with a Kicker 2500.1
