  1. Screw all this comparison bs... give me a few sacks of taters some wire and nails. :roflmao: In all reality most batteries are very much alike its a battery for shit sakes. Only so many ways to slice an apple as it is to build a battery. Mind you some are of a little higher quality but is another 150 bucks worth that .2v you might get with that xs over say a shuriken battery? Not to me the least bit id rather have a better alternator.

Was that ment to be a joke. :fing34:

  2. there is no way he could do that... you must not have a big boy system in your ride. cause our shit is weighed the fuck down lol

I was just messing around personally that's a little much for me. I need a daily driver and live in the city. That's why I have a suv :fing34:

  3. Edit. Didn't make sense to repost pics. But yeah I like it the way he has it with the back blacked out.

Damn I pad made me thumbs down on one of the pic post. Mybad

  4. I think the Zcons may be the perfect fit. I want musical ability first off because my setup will be daily driven. And then SPL in the lanes comes seconds and I'm just going to get it metered one time anyway.

ZCON ZCON ZCON!!! i gave up 2 kicker solo x's for 1 zcon 15 and could not be happier. its a VERY musical driver and gets REALLY loud and LOWW if i ever change my set up, it will be to add a second zcon 15. i wish i had found ssa about 2 years ago...:/

    Thanks man

  5. well I personally own two ZCON 18's and they are in about 11 cubes internally after displace and they have amazing SQ and awesome SPL just tune ur box around 32hz and you will be all set! BTW if u do go with the zcons you can always upgrade ur power later and they will not hate you for it :fing34:

That really helps thanks and I'm thinking of watching Super Troopers now.lol

  6. zcons love smaller enclosures and get really low but so do the xcons! Either choice = win!

I have heard that SSA subs are really good on the lows. I'm really looking to see what are the main advantages and disadvantages between the SSA's and the Z's? Also the SSA's are cheaper by a little bit.

  7. I'm in the last stages of deciding my setup. I decided on 2 18's and want to know how these three compare to each other. I'm going to have 11 cubes tuned around 31-32 to work with and 2 Crecendo 2k's. I'm looking for a SPL sub,but with Monster lows to flex everything. That's about all I have to ask.

  8. I have had hands on experience with the AVH. I had one for about 3 months until I broke the screen. I love the sleek look of it and the vivid colors. Great for watching videos or movies between classes and was great for running my 10 inch flip down. I don't know what the difference will be between the 4v per-outs vs the 6.5, but I know my Avh was very loud and clear.

On a side note where did you find the Avh for 320?

  9. The fifteens would have a bit more cone area and the potential to be louder. It is all in the install though. I'd probably run the z's just because they will probably handle the power better, and I'm not knocking the sa's because I know they can take more than they're rated for. Do you have the electrical to back that much power?

I'm in the process of getting a XS 3400 as a secondary battery and buying my Knu 0gauge(minimum wage= :bull:

I'm starting with just a backup battery with 1 2k and then around March I would like to buy another 3400 with a 270a mechman alt and a second 2k. I would make sure to use my friends dd1 to make sure the signals are all clean power. All I really want is a loud music monster that also meters well somewhere between 145-148 on music .

Also I already have a design drawn up for the 4 15's. If I went with the Z's I would need a new box design which I know nothing about(btw).
