  1. check fuse(s) on your front to rear power wire run.

If it's not that, then it's this-

You have what i try and preach to people 10,000x is we, car audio community, cannot just rely on the framework of a vehicle as the "perfect" ground.

You are experiencing a full 1 volt drop from front to rear.

You want to test this for free without installing anything?

Get you a set of jumper cables. You need only use the ground side.

Attach the ground clamp to ground post on D3400.

Attach other end to ground post on stock battery, alt casingbracket or as close to the battery or alt ground as possible.

    Your voltage should instantly skyrocket.

Ifwhen it does, you need to run a ground cable from front to rear of the stock batt to rear batt ground.

Both batts are in front sir. I personally think its the ground my self. Didn't tie it into my other grounds. I'll try to find some jumper cables.

  2. So I go to put my 3400 in after charging. It took it off the charger put it in the car check it with a DMM and reading 13.7v or so. So I hook everything up and start the truck.

Voltage reads 15.1 then down to 14.8 on my stinger meter.

I go to check my 3400 with a DMM and it reads 13.78v WTF. So I check my amp wires they read 14.8 WTF. So I check the 3400 again it still reads 13.78-13.79. Then I check my stock it's reading 14.8.

My wires are ran like this

Alt POS to POS on 3400

Alt POS to POS on stock

POS from 3400 to POS on amp.

My questions are. Is my amp wires reading 14.8 but my 3400 is reading 13.78?

Is it because my 3400 is fully charged so it's not accepting the charge are something?

Edit: So I went out and batt was resting at 13.17. Start the car it creeps up .1 by .1 to 13.30. I'm talking 13.17 1 sec later 13.20 1sec later 13.21ect. Ran over and checked stock and it was at 15.0 I then shut the car down.

  3. Jake is my teammate. You are right he came down from sb5 because he was running 19v. Now he's back to sb4 on 12v. He's trying to get the world record back for Allen potter since Allen moved up to sb5 as a pro. The record was 158.4 but I think was beat by brett last weekend. I didn't hear anything about a new record but I heard he did a 59.1

Naw, he was just talking about how he was going for it. I couldn't remember his name to save my life. That's why I couldn't name names.

He is doing a 59? I heard it when it did a 57(he was still on 16v). I have to catch him somewhere to get a demo.

Also I have a question Steve do you have to wait until finals to go for a record like that or could you just go to a local show and make a run?

    end thread jack/

  4. Can I ask who? I wonder if I know them?

I don't really want to put business out and I dont know there last names anyway just met them once. I do remember they did have walls if it helps.

I thought you could be in SB5 by choice or something?

One guy was running high voltage i think you can only do that is SB5 right?

maybe your talking about Jake with the white Toyota highlander.

That's his name. I couldn't remember and didn't want to get it wrong. He's a cool guy. He has black rims right?

well you started it so I figured you wanted to talk about it.

By no means am I just gonna walk up and take the record. Lots if heavy hitters for sure.

    Yeah, I hear you Mybad.

It would be cool if I got to hear your ride after you got a world record though.

  7. Getting bonkers.

going going.....gone! It's not getting bonkers bro, its past bonkers.

I have set my set myself I hefty goal though....streetbeat 4 world record holder before the end of the season.

I don't even compete, but I notice a bunch of people going for that SB4 record. Most people I have seen are dropping down a class to run in SB4. Should be good as I have seen some good numbers out of people. Good luck Steve.

Coming down from what? Sb4 is the highest consumer class. Sb5 is just for shops that can't compete in sb4.

Ohhhh, Mybad I ment going up I guess. It's a couple of Texas guys I met that said they where rebuilding to go for the record in SB4.

My knowledge is very limited on the rules and stuff. Although one day I would like to get into it more.

  9. It's a horrible, empty feeling isn't it?.....

J/k, being bass-less does suck though.

I keep turning my bass up on the stock stereo trying to get some kick out of it. Lol

I even considered buying a cheap amp just to run in the mean time.

  10. Got a call from Navid this morning. He said that first runs don't like above 15.0 so that's my problem. He said he will put a new diode on the board so it can take up to 16.6. Amp shipped back this morning. :)
