  1. Are the dips only when the bass is hitting or just sporadic? Is this at idle or at what RPM range. With the vehicle running what voltage are you seeing at the starting battery and secondary battery?

I would recommend running at least another run of power wire.

  2. Hey I will be out of the office starting today through June 13th. I will try to check in and take care of as much as I can, but if you have any questions just call the office 888.497.7693 or email tech@xspowerbatteries.com.

  3. You can use part # 580 or 586. If there is a height clearance issue, then the 580 will work better, because they are shorter. Either will fit on the battery though, so it really depends on the install and application.

The battery comes with the hardware to hook up your ring terminals if that is what you are currently using, so the posts would not be needed if you are running ring terminals.

I would shoot Mark or Aaron (think Aaron is currently out of the office, so Mark may be better) about the shipping cost of the terminals when you order a battery. I would think it is just a flaw in the check out process. We will just put the terminals in the box with the battery, so there will be no added shipping cost for the terminals.

  4. It is time to redo the slogan for XS Power Mobile Audio. We want to give everyone a chance at offering up their opinion for the slogan. If we choose your slogan you will win a new D925. We may not pick a slogan from the entries, but we want to give everyone a chance to win.

You can post them up here or email them to info@xspowerbatteries.com. All entries must be received by 9:45am (est) Monday morning. So, get to thinking and send in your choice.

All entries into the contest will become the sole property of XS Power Batteries and XS Power Batteries will own all the rights to the winning entry.

  5. Just a simple load test comparison of the D3100 and a couple other Group 31 batteries. I am sure we should have done many things differently and I am sure we will hear about it, but people ask for comparison videos and here you go. Approx 500 amp load for 30 seconds. More videos to come.

  6. We do not have a direct replacement for that size battery. Most just put a D3400 in the stock location, but you would want to check and make sure you have the room. The terminals are reversed, but if you are upgrading your stock electrical it isn't an issue.

  7. We have a lot more comparison videos coming up. Side by side load tests and other test to better inform the car audio enthusiast with the differences XS Power batteries offer. I ordered a lot of batteries yesterday for testing and we should have some great videos coming up.

We have had issues with keeping production up to the demand. With the new ownership coming in I can tell you that HUGE strides have taken place to take care of the out of stocks. One thing that hurt us was the HUGE demand we saw at the first of the year. We had some very large overseas customers place some VERY large orders at we did expect. The demand was much greater than we had projected and really got us behind the 8 ball early, but we are digging out and can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
