    My first build (questions)

If your 15's are dual 4-ohm coils the Sundown SAZ-1500D should be great, you will be able to run all coils parrallel giving a 1-ohm load. As far as head unit I'm sure BanginGMC has a good reason for his suggestion on head unit. I have been using a Sony MEX-BT5700U http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665755310 It has the USB feature you requested, 3 RCA 4-volt preouts and my favorite feature is I can play music off my I-phone wireless through the Bluetooth. Do a search and can find for less than $250. Welcome to the forum and good luck on your build.

By sefugi at 2010-05-05 Way to many things going on now...have to regroup and get a little focus. Had to do something about these factory speakers, not very appealing... By sefugi at 2010-05-02 Decided to remove and modify to fit in a set of tweeters. By sefugi at 2010-05-02 Pulled the original grille from the frame and cut hole for tweet By sefugi at 2010-05-02 Resined to build up a surface that could be sanded and painted By sefugi at 2010-05-02 By sefugi at 2010-05-02 By sefugi at 2010-05-02 Installed tweets to grille and reinstalled to dash. 95 Eclipse Father/Son Project

Since we are trying to do this on a somewhat prefigured buget, my son decided on mostly Soundstream components. Sooooooo- Cheap Headunit-TV-Veiw 7" Screen Amps for Mids and Highs- 2 Soundstream D-Tower DTR4.500 Amps for Subs - 2 Soundstream D-Tower DTR1.2200 Front Speakers 1 Oxygen AIR2.63 3-Way Rear Speakers 1 Oxygen Air2.203 8" Coaxial Subs 1 Soundstream T5-15 2 Soundstream T5-10 Batteries Front-Redtop Optima Rear -2 Kinetiks KHC600 CapCell 1 Soundstream SCELL-1000 After joining this forum I have realized that these choices may not have been the best, but they are ours now and the project is in progress. Sooooo-We will live with them for now and in the future possibly make changes.
