im planning on having the sub and port facing the hatch of the trunk, i think like 8 is the max width in the center because of my spare tire. the max length is 35 and hight is 16. i would upload a sketch of what i want but photobucket wont let me upload anything.

Well my problem is that I want room for my spair tire but I would have to make a really weird box and even with external ports I don't know if it will fit. I don't know how long they would be and if I could have like 2 but have then be short but still keep my tuning. I was already told the length of one but that seemed to long. I'll know for sure when I actualy start to get legitamit box designs.

That's one of the awesers I was looking for! I was hopeing I could save more room but if that is the max I could save or close to it then I guess I'll just have to compromise and go for the slot port.

Well I was just told that I am not allowed to install my own equipment when I get it. The reason is because of my warrenty. But I will be taking all my stuff to a car audio install place. I will try and ask them if I can watch but when I get home I'm going to be tuning it myself and double checking the wiring just in case.

i was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the AQ1200D, its cheap and i'm debating if i should save my money and get it.

1) I never would have thought that this topic would get so heated. While you may think this is very off topic, I love it. It helps me decide between the 2. 2) I have heard of Db-r and I have checked out his website. He didn't have any 1500.1's last time I checked. And trust me everyone, I would get a sundow as soon as I could but like alot of 16 year olds I'm not rich. I'm quite broke that's why I'm going with AQ. I've seen the amp in action and ppl say it's a good amp, and some members on this forum even have some.

alright, I'll drill them with questions and see if I can also do it my self...

yeah, im just going to stick with AQ. now all i have to do is wait till my vacation is over, near the beginning of july and then i will truly enter the Car audio world
