Making some flush mount rings and fiberglass pretty sturdy i can stand on it and it holds me it flexs just a little so im thinking 2 more layers and ill be good

just got back from working i can stand on the fiberglass now that should be good right? also will post some pics of the process i got when i get back my camera back i left it in the shed i was working at i know stay tuned

Quick Question i got 3 of these beefy things i am making a sealed enclosure i can get 1 cu ft before displacement or with alot of ingenuity i can get 1.3 cu ft before displacement ( be more work not sure if it is needed) didnt know what the actually size was for sealed thanks and cant wait to fire these bad boys up with the 1200d

what if i am trying to do the screw the corners together ill post pics to show ya what i am talking about another questions how do i connect the fiberglass bottom to the mdf just trying to get an idea Pics to help explain bottom - Ya tape was a B**** to get off but got it where i missed a few spots on the bottom i hit them with some resin and should be good by tomorrow HMMM pics of it in the truck ya i now there is a gap help(dad) already left so had to free hand it Now trying to decide if i want to make the middle an amp rack or try to mount the amp underneath the seat i dont even know if it will fit under the seat thats it for a few days i got a few tests and a few projects due this week dam overloaded STAY TUNED

First qustion i no its pretty noob but to attach mdf together i predrill then add wood glue and screw in the predrilled holes correct. also i am trying to make my corners rounded where two piece of mdf are meeting also i got a ring so the sub would mount to and then i am going to attach it to the box so it will be flushed mounted do i do them as predrilling etc or do i need bracing heres a link to my build log so you can kinda see what i am working with My Nissan frontier build sorry about grammar and spelling been a long few days of fiberglassing

K some more noob questions 1.i got the SAE1200d i know i need 1/0 gauge wire iput but what should i orderd for the speark output. 2, Gonna start working with more mdf tomorrow when i am connecting it do i add screws or just glue i now it breaks and cracks and i cant find what other people have done or do 3 Do you think a 10" grill like this will work or should i go with Subs are not going to be exactly flushed mounted but are going to be mounted in 3/4" Thanks for all the help thanks

Lost my virginity to fiberglass today. Hopefully it gets easier every time because its a pain I was riding around in this POS today while truck was curing seat is duct taped one door wont open its just tie strapped to the seat belt but still kicking Its Out you can see how wavy it is in this pic gonna spend a good part of tomorrow trying to take that tape i put on the bottom All for today gonna let that cure *case and gonna try to take some measurements and cut the wood tomorrow and try to see if i can get all of them in there it is gonna take some imagination but my dad is coming over he always has a different point of view and alot of times it works

just added 2 more layers.. when this drys i should be able to take it out right or should i just do all the layers for the bottom on the inside?? Thanks for all the advice oo ya and in the heat and those fumes i feel like gonna go take a nap and hopefully when i wake up i can do it again

k quick question . i got a few bubbles and bulges do i just break the mat up real small and stuff it in there with the brush MORE pics

guess i will just have to spend alot more time trying to get the tape off i did foil then tape but second thing it is 75 out and gonn a be 90 today also will post pics of my first layer in a few mins gotta to go back to homedeopt and get some more mat i bought a little bit to see how much i need . will post more pics when i get back gonna let my truck cook in the sun to help the drying process

lol i had 695 and 699 but anyways i got my subs 2 days later actually less thant 40 hrs and other took about 4 days after i ordered u should get very soon

update: What have i got my self into one half a ring done now i got a template WOOT gonna take a 10 min break mdf dust BLOWS

trying to cut rings so i can mount them flush --- good thing i wont need this whole sheet- first one way off 2nd one just a tad off hopefully 3rd times the charm- - left the camera at the house will post pics tomorrow- i am at the shop i work at. oo ya wish me luck

Teaser Pics o ya and i am trying to decide if i want to go hunting or work on my box this weekend what yall think supplies this came in the mail today to PONTE 100% polyester some research on the fiberglassforums and i decided i would try this stuff MDF 3/4 almost went 1/2 but decciede if was gonna put 1200 watts rms on it might better go a little bigger
